I like it. Reminds me of raiden and the sect. Techstep type of vibe.
I just don't think the intro matches the main theme personally, i don't know how to describe it.

KingKilo responds:

Thanks, man!
The intro didn't match the main tune, at all, if you'd ask me. Hahaha.
I hope my newer songs have more fitting intros.

Easy on the bass. Its too loud and rough. LP(lowpass )filter it or turn down the volume.

Tripcode responds:

Eh, considering the main focus of this track is the bass, I wanted it to be the loudest thing. I'll give that a try though and see what results it yields. Really though, 38 plays and 2 stars? This beat is not THAT bad. I've heard a thousand times worse up here.

I usually listen to more heavier funky dnb, but I felt like you did a good job here. I am listening through headphones. Nice subtle bassline and melody for smooth dnb. Man, I might try making a dnb track.

pichuscute0 responds:

Thanks (: Im glad you like it!

This is very good and relaxing. Take a break from the popular hardcore house. You have class sir.

AbstractEclipse responds:

We all need to kick back and chill out once in a while. Happy to hear that this helped you out in doing so. ^^

Awesome track. Nice transitions. Nice punchy kick. How do you do it?

Krupinkin responds:

Well I have tried many things in the past to make tracks groovy. I can not say that doing it good so far, anyway have some achievements :) The sound in this track is got via mixing of sidechain dynamics, exciter, multylevel compressor. And all the rest is just pushing different buttons :)
Thank you for feedback!

Its different and I like the vocals. Did you use a vocoder for the vocals to change the pitch? This also sounds more like electro house than dubstep imo but it has some dubstep properties. The glitchy part can be a little bit over powering at some parts. For example, starting 1:32 -1:50 some around 3:15 were very cool glitchy effects but It just didn't blend tastefully imo. Good job though.

RedVelvetSquared responds:

thanks man i keep it in mind for future uploads

I know its a wip, I don't feel worthy of even reviewing but I think you can do better. Around 20 sec was pretty good drum fill to bring in the bass. But I would add like a synth arp or strings in the background to accompany the bells to make it a little interesting. Even with the drop at the beginning it still seems like an intro imo. I would think adding some high hats for rhythm would be nice addition too. Keep at it.

ParanoiaZombie responds:

Thx for the feedback =) I'll take it into consideration! =D

This beat is pretty good. Been a minute since I visited this page. The samples were nicely done imo.

B-RadGfromOV responds:

Yeah I haven't seen you in forever MSC. thanks for reviewing.

the volume...

The song needs some work. You should automate the volume a little better some parts are totally louder than others making it feel so unbalanced. There is no low bass to support your high end sound for a dubstep track.

Good concept but needs a be mixed a little bit better. Too many sound clashing.

Kaskrin responds:

Yea I made this a while ago, it's not too loud, but the soft parts are way too soft. In many parts I lower the volume way past comfortable. Thank you for the comment!

Its not bad

I can't say its bad, I just don't like the bass or synth you used here. The one that comes in at :23. Other than that its okay. This mix sounds good just felt that it would sound WAY better with a different bass or even detuning it making it into a reese bass.

Kieda responds:

It's a kind of dubstep bass, the best I could make.

I'll try better next time, or just make it without a dubstep bass xP
